It’s named aptly, with quiet, wooded campsites that encourage privacy and peace on the southwest edge of the Allegheny National Forest. This dog-friendly campground includes both campsites that allow pets and four pet-friendly rental cabins to choose from. There are no breed restrictions at this campground, and it’s conveniently close to a number of hiking trails and other outdoor attractions for your whole family.

This family-focused campground located in the Pocono Mountains feels like a rural paradise while only 90 minutes from New York City. The mountainous campground features a heated swimming pool for their human guests and a dog run for their K-9 campers. Leashes are required outside of the dog run. Once inside the run, only a collar or harness is required. Keep in mind that you will need approval from the campground to have more than two pets at your campsite.
